The article outlines a new view of childhood disability in the 21st century. At KidsAbility, work is well underway to bring ENVISAGE to our community and we are on track to be the first children’s treatment centre in Canada to deliver the program to clinicians and families.
ENVISAGE (ENabling VISions And Growing Expectations) will support families towards the goal of moving beyond “fixing”, and instead towards promoting function and enabling being, becoming and belonging for our clients.
