Rocket is committed to advancing research, sharing knowledge, and integrating research into practice. We believe that embedded research is crucial for driving innovation and improving outcomes in pediatric rehabilitation. As leaders in this field, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
As part of this commitment, we’re excited to share that members of the Rocket team will be presenting at this year’s Empowered Kids Ontario Spring Symposium! This event brings together organizations from across Ontario that support children with disabilities and developmental differences to share research, spark innovation and foster collaboration.
Brendan Wylie-Toal will be giving a presentation on “AI and Large Language Models in Clinical Documentation.” He will discuss how AI is being used to assist clinicians with notetaking, the research behind evaluating the accuracy and quality of AI-generated notes, and the clinicians’ perspectives on integrating AI into their workflow.
Sam Noyek, Cynthia Lennon, and Sue Gibson will also be presenting a poster on “Implementing ENVISAGE at KidsAbility.” ENVISAGE (ENabling Visions and Growing Expectations) is a program designed to help caregivers connect, share information, and access the knowledge and support they need.
We’re proud to contribute to this important event and share insights from our work. Stay tuned for updates as we continue exploring new ways to improve pediatric rehabilitation through research and innovation!
