On March 26, 2025, the Department of Pediatrics hosted McMaster Child Health Research Day (MCHRD), a vibrant knowledge-sharing forum bringing together researchers, clinicians, and families from McMaster University, McMaster Children’s Hospital, and St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. The event highlighted groundbreaking research and innovations aimed at improving the health and quality of life for children and their families. 

We’re thrilled to announce that KidsAbility’s Rocket Discovery Centre achieved incredible results at this prestigious event! 

A Special Shout-Out to Our Stars: 

  • Dr. Samantha Noyek & Elizabeth Chambers received the Top Poster Presenters award for their work implementing ENVISAGE at KidsAbility. This achievement was guided by the mentorship of Dr. Andrea Cross & Cynthia Lennon.
  • Michelle Phoenix, a KidsAbility Adjunct Scientist, delivered an engaging oral presentation showcasing her team’s impactful work with KidsAbility.
  • Hayli Jang and Cynthia Lennon shared insights through their poster on Universal Resources at KidsAbility. From innovations in clinical care to engaging families in research, the Rocket team has demonstrated the meaningful contributions they make to advance pediatric rehabilitation.
